------------------ a photo op ! Hey, go figure !! ------------------ Hey Pantera..why don't you really tell us how you feel. LOL If you want........find his name in the front of the magazine (where they list the editor, etc.) and see if there is an email listed. Post on the board and we can have a field day with him! ------------------ This message has been edited by CTProwler on 03-14-2005 at 06:17 PM The last time I read that load Brock Yates' statement that Prowler owners are embarrassed, I sent a nasty letter and let my subscription lapse after over 10 years of subscribing... I just can't stand to read that crap by elitist writers anymore..."Oooohh the new BMW is so magical...blah blah..." YUCH! Watch what they say about the Prowler in 10 more years...they'll be falling all over them selves. The car was ahead of it's time. Well said! Moi????? Be happy to! This message has been edited by CJ on 03-14-2005 at 09:47 PM Chalk it up to those who simply don't "get it". Kevin ------------------ aidzikowski@hfmus.com Enjoy!! There just isn't that many people out there to piss off...but maybe there are more than you think. I have never heard a negative word about the Prowler since I purchased mine. I have talked to hundreds of people who ask all the questions about this car, and I have answered as many as I could. They LOVE the car... they tell me I am lucky to have one, and encourage me to take care of it....I would suggest that your negative comments are a poor attempt to crawl up Brock Yates butt..... And thats to bad because you could have pleased many by recognizing a great car and made yourself look good doing it... instead you took the low road.... a proud owner of the finest, most unique american car ever made sam mandarine ! This message has been edited by samthejeepman on 03-15-2005 at 05:33 PM Enjoy!! TCTProwler I just got my April issue of Car & Driver. There is a article by Andre Idzikowski about the Chevy SSR. He mentioned Chevy missed the boat like Chrysler had with it's 1997 Plymouth Prowler, a flashy Hot Rod that was hampered by a Whimpy V-6! He also mentioned the Prowler Fizzled out 2 years ago,and the thunderbird is destined for the same fate. How can you write articles for a national magazine and not know your facts. Fizzled out? Wasn't the plan to keep making them. Why do all these car company's now advertise how much horsepower they have and brag about 200- 215. The prowler has a high output V-6 around 250 HP! This guy needs to have a few letters sent to him explaining Chryslers vision. JMO halicat a few of you guys with the gears should do some burn outs in front of his office..... DUSTI Andre Idzikowski Pantera I was wondering when somebody would bring up this article...It pissed me off.

As I've said before... these guys are writers......not necessarily car people....most of them aren't. It's their opinion.....not anyone else's.........and they don't generally care about the facts or don't bother finding out the facts. 1buddyc CJ, you have a devious mind....I LIKE IT!!! JCProwler They should check with owners, not to think how there going to trash on a car... CTProwler Idiot(Andre) Idzinkowski is the "Road Test manager" WoW, Surprised he can manage something. No email for him but i'm going to try www.CARandDRIVER.com Hope it works. Emailed them on the bottom of the page where it says contact. Ed W. quote:

GREAT IDEA!!! Sorry...didn't mean to shout. We can have fun with this guy. I still have some energy left after going a round or two with the sprinkler guy when he was dropping the "F-Bombs" on our personal e-mails. I believe that AC will be willing to lend a hand.
The sad part about the bonehead that wrote this article is that it sounds as if he is using more of his opinion that actual facts.
Although...I think we should consider Halicat's idea. It definitely sounds like fun!!!

Sam,
I'm sorry...your right! Let me fix that.
samthejeepman muchhhhhhhhhhhh better
and after seeing his automotive expertise, he would probably
classify this as one of the top ten best vehicles in the world !!!halicat thanks for the his address Tami.... samthejeepman a copy of my email sent to the "expert"
Sir
After reading you comments about the prowler automobile, i sat back and read it again, in total disbelief.
As a subcriber to car and driver since the time you were in diapers, i have enjoyed the views of the writers and made my own judgements as to their comments.
i cannot believe car and driver has dragged out the bottom of the barrel, and found such a narrow minded, uneducated writer such as you !!
i would love to know how you came to the conclusions you came to ??
did you talk to owners, who love and adore these vehicles, did you talk to people that gawk, smile and give thumbs up everytime one of these unique vehicles passes them ? have you asked any of these owners how many trophies they have won with these vehicles across the country, and for that matter in the world ??
i think, before you give your "expert" opinion again, you should do some research, because, you have no idea what you are talking about !!!!!
you can tell your staff members, that because of you, i will not be renewing my subcription to car and driver, and i will tell every why !!!GenoTex quote:
